Glenn A. McCloud was born and raised in Malvern, AR. He was blessed to have a very talented art teacher who helped him develop an eye for fine art. At an early age he was commissioned to do several drawings for Glen Rose High School, the school from which he graduated. He has won numerous awards both regionally and nationally; most recently, the 2002 State Fair for pen and ink.
After 23 years of drawing and selling his work, he still loves looking at other artists' work which inspires him to do his own work. "I like to see what other artists are doing and how they do it. This helps me in my drawing." He prefers working in pen and ink, however, he also likes to paint with acrylics. Most of his drawings are in black and white, but in the last few years he has been incorporating colored ink into his drawings. His favorite subjects are wildlife and architecture. He frequently carries a camera with him because, "I might see something I would like to draw."
Glenn lives in Prattsville, AR with his wife and two children. Even though he works in construction, his artwork plays a major role in his life.
