Having painted all her life, Boyce is no stranger to the
canvas. As her talent developed she began to focus on capturing
warm positive feelings involving the human touch in nature.
Painting gardens and landscapes, flowers, and other scenes
involving the development of natural settings, Boyce began
developing a personal style, which has brought pleasure
and happiness to those who have seen her work. She has developed
a reputation as a strong and unique portraiture. Boyce has
numerous and loyal followings from which multiples of her
work are found in collections throughout Arkansas and across
the country.
Utilizing a very spiritual technique and an impressionistic style, Arden
paints with deep emotion. Her greatest pleasure is derived from
experimenting with the texture of her paints and using her natural talent
to concentrate on the immediate visual impression produced by a scene.
Using unmixed primary colors and small strokes to simulate actual light
reflection, Boyce has mastered the technique developed by our first
impressionists in the late 1800s.
Boyce's current work consists of landscapes, seascapes, figurative and
still life paintings
